see the light

Well, it's January and the dreaded third week -- the week that is known as the most downer week of the year. My Rx is light. Light is everything. I am always fascinated by how photographers see light. I know they study it extensively in school, but I think the best see it in a sixth sense way -- a way that can't be taught. When all the participants in an interior shoot have the gift of light, there is magic. This home above is magic. Just look at the light. Let's all soak up as much as we can.

Oh we are singing the same tune today! I love your examples too. I love the large window in the top image looking out to the symmetrical garden. Yes, let's soak up as much of this as possible!
