What's the deal with Sköna Hem? Why does it send every blogger into paroxysms of style bliss? Is it Sweden? Is it the white? Is it the styling? The interiors? My sense is it's all of the above. My question is, what do I need to do to help make the little mag where I work such a roaring success? Also, is the buzz about Sköna Hem supported by healthy ad sales and a loyal readership? Hmmmm. wonder.

I like the magazine, but I think it is the layout that is lacking sometimes. It needs to be fresher. More House Beautiful. More Domino (boo hoo). More Martha Stewart. I tend to enjoy the home feature stories that are a bit more in length, especially when the spaces have been done by the homeowner. Anyone can hire a designer. Just my 2 cents on a wonky Sunday afternoon. Cheers!
Hey Steph, thanks for the feedback. We are very excited about some fresh new stuff coming up in Style at Home under the direction of our new editor Jane Francisco. (Our previous editor, Gail Habs retired in June). You'll start seeing new layouts, stories etc in the Oct. issue. Let me know what you think. M
