it's coming back

Toile is coming back. I've been comparing notes with colleagues and we agree wholeheartedly. OK, for sure it never really went away, but we think it's really really really coming back. Just gaze for a while at this photo and tell me you aren't amazed. KW's ubiquitous Imperial Trellis doesn't hold a candle to this!

I agree. I just hope that people don't try too hard with toile...I am nervous about seeing "modern interpretations" - I like the old school approach - all toile all the time - put it EVERYWHERE in the room. Margot - I am addicted to this blog! xo Tommy

Such an amazingly striking image. I love how versatile toile is - surprisingly so. These primary colours make it seem so updated!
